2025

Aerotravel invests further in technology to ensure operational agility, offer a wider and more relevant travel portfolio, and maintain a strong balance between cost and quality.

2024

Travel Leaders Romania becomes ALTOUR, aligning with a global strategy focused on adding greater value through innovative technology and the expertise of one of the world’s leading travel management companies.

2023

Cruises, business travel, and corporate events see notable growth, reaching volumes comparable to pre-pandemic levels.

2022

The company invests in recruiting and developing travel consultants to deliver relevant solutions and outstanding travel experiences for both corporate and individual clients.

2021

Despite ongoing travel restrictions, Aerotravel Group performs successfully in the charter vacation segment.

2020

Aerotravel quickly adapts to the pandemic context by focusing on clients’ new priorities, promoting safe destinations, and organizing online and hybrid corporate events.

2019

Aerotravel becomes the exclusive representative of Travel Leaders International in Romania. Its online travel agency and leisure branches are rebranded under Fabrica de Vacante.

2016

Two new companies are established as part of the Aerotravel Group: AeroVacante, the group’s tour operator, and CruiseHub, offering cruises worldwide.

2014

Aerotravel implements an advanced CRM system to enhance service quality.

2011

A company-wide continuous training program is introduced for all Aerotravel staff.

2009

Aerotravel launches a new tourism product in Romania: cruises across the world’s oceans and seas.

2003-2006

Aerotravel expands its footprint, opening new offices in Sibiu, Brașov, and Bucharest.

2001

Aerotravel's revenue doubles for the third consecutive year.

2000

Aerotravel strengthens its global travel service capabilities by joining the Lufthansa City Center international network.

1998

Aerotravel becomes operational in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Timisoara; the Cluj-Napoca office is the first to be IATA-certified.

1997

In November 1997, Aerotravel is founded as a fully privately-owned company.
