A New Lufthansa Flight Experience with Allegris First Class

Lufthansa’s long-haul First Class flights are becoming more comfortable and refined with Allegris, the airline’s new cabin interior design.

Starting March 30, 2025, the new cabin will be available on flights from Munich to San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru. It will also be introduced across Economy, Premium Economy, and Business Class on flights to New York–Newark (from April) and Charlotte (from August).

As of February, nine A350-900 aircraft equipped with the new interior have entered service with Lufthansa, eight of which feature the brand-new First Class. The complete refurbishment of the Lufthansa fleet with the Allegris design will begin this year, starting with the Boeing 747-8 aircraft.

Key features include:

  • Individually adjustable heated or cooled seats for personalized comfort.
  • Private suites with full-height walls and lockable doors, ensuring maximum privacy.
  • Each suite includes a spacious seat, a large table, a personal wardrobe, a screen up to 43 inches, and wireless over-ear headphones.

Looking Ahead: Enhanced Comfort Onboard Lufthansa

As part of the Future Onboard Experience initiative, Lufthansa is also redesigning all elements of service across long-haul flights and all cabin classes. This includes the culinary offering, tableware, pillows, blankets, amenity kits, and in-flight services.

These upgrades are set to launch ahead of Lufthansa’s 100th anniversary in 2026.

Business Class and frequent flyers will also benefit from exciting innovations:
Starting late February, a new catering concept for short- and medium-haul Business Class flights will offer a greater selection of hot and cold dishes, along with completely redesigned menus.

The lounges in Newark and London Heathrow have already been fully renovated, with upgrades to 30 additional lounges scheduled throughout the year.
