IATA Enhances Its CO2 Emissions Calculation Tool
Air France has revealed its new La Première first-class suites, which offer nearly 3.5 square meters of space. These suites will be gradually introduced on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, starting in the spring of 2025.
The first aircraft equipped with the new La Première cabin, named Épernay, will take off in the spring, heading to New York-JFK. Additional destinations, including Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo-Haneda, will be added in the summer 2025 season.
What’s New in La Première, the New First-Class Suite?
With five windows—an exclusive Air France feature—as well as a seat that transforms into a two-meter-long and 75 cm-wide bed, the new La Première cabin promises a unique experience, enhanced by personalized service and a Michelin three-star dining offering.
The seat adjusts for different phases of the flight: takeoff, landing, dining, or relaxation. Featuring a leather headrest embossed with the Air France emblem (the winged seahorse) and luxurious ergonomic upholstery, the seat adapts to each passenger’s body for optimal comfort. A nearby console and table provide convenient space for working or dining.
More Space, More Technology Onboard!
The new suite offers 25% more space than the current cabin and is enclosed by a thick floor-to-ceiling curtain, ensuring complete privacy and tranquility.
Onboard, state-of-the-art technology enhances the travel experience. Each passenger enjoys two 32-inch 4K screens, providing access to over 1,500 hours of entertainment from their seat, lounger, or bed. Noise-canceling headphones are provided, and passengers can also connect their own headphones via Bluetooth.
The suite is equipped with 110V/220V power outlets, USB-A and USB-C ports, wireless charging stations, and dedicated holders for phones or tablets. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the journey.
A Perfected Travel Experience
This latest upgrade is part of Air France’s ongoing efforts to enhance the comfort of its fleet. Last year, the airline opened a dedicated first-class check-in lobby and a private lounge at Paris CDG, exclusively for La Première passengers. Prior to that, Air France introduced its new business-class cabin.
