I. Turkish Airlines Now Flies from Timișoara!
Last week, the Turkish carrier officially launched its Timișoara – Istanbul flights, operated 5 times a week. Timișoara becomes the fourth city in Romania included in the Turkish Airlines network, joining Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Constanța.
The expansion of air operations in Romania brings new options for business travel in 2026, facilitating access to over 350 international destinations worldwide.
II. Enhanced Comfort on Lufthansa Short and Medium-Haul Flights
By 2029, a total of 38 Airbus A320 aircraft operated by Lufthansa will be modernized, featuring new seats, significantly larger cabin baggage compartments, USB ports at every seat, as well as tablet and smartphone holders.
Thus, passengers will benefit from more comfort not only on long-haul routes but also on short and medium-haul flights.
III. More Flight Options to Destinations in Asia
In the current context, where flight options for certain routes are limited, Turkish Airlines is increasing the number of frequencies to destinations in Asia for the period of April – October 2026.
Specifically, there will be 344 additional flights for leisure and business travel in 2026 to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta.
IV. Air France: More Direct Flights to the USA
Starting April 15, Air France will launch a new direct route between Paris and Las Vegas, operated three times a week with Airbus A350-900 aircraft. In June, Air France will add a second daily flight between Paris and New York.
By summer, the airline will offer 11 daily flights between Paris and New York’s JFK and Newark airports, in partnership with Delta Air Lines.
