KLM Premium Comfort and World Business travel classes
Whether you are flying for an important business meeting or a long-awaited vacation, the onboard experience is a vital part of the entire journey. The airline offers passengers the KLM Premium Comfort and World Business travel classes—which, while designed for different needs, share the same high standard of comfort and premium services.
Both cabins are dedicated to passengers who desire more space, priority services, and a superior level of comfort.
Premium Comfort: The Ideal Balance Between Comfort and Flexibility
Premium Comfort Class is positioned between Economy and Business, offering an excellent balance of comfort, extra space, and cost.
The experience begins at the airport with SkyPriority services: priority check-in and boarding, faster access through formalities, and an efficient travel flow. Checked baggage is included for Standard and Flex tickets, and the carry-on allowance is more generous than in Economy class.
Onboard, the cabin is separate and features a reduced number of seats, ensuring a quiet environment. The seat offers up to 18 cm of additional legroom compared to a standard Economy seat and a recline of up to 20 cm. Adjustable footrests, in-seat power (110V or USB), and a 13-inch personal screen create the perfect conditions for both work and relaxation.
On intercontinental flights in the Premium Comfort cabin, the meal service includes three main course options (two served hot), dessert, and a careful selection of wines and spirits. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the flight, and a second meal or snack is offered before landing. The comfort kit, made from recycled materials, includes essential items for a pleasant journey. Additionally, Wi-Fi is available on many flights, and Flying Blue members benefit from free messaging.
World Business Class – The Benchmark for Intercontinental Flights
On long-haul routes, World Business Class transforms time spent onboard into an experience built around rest, superior comfort, and top-tier services.
The journey starts with SkyPriority services and lounge access, including the KLM Crown Lounge in Amsterdam, where you can work or relax before boarding.
On intercontinental flights, every passenger enjoys direct aisle access and a full-flat seat that transforms into a completely horizontal bed. Personal space is well-defined, and the design includes additional storage areas, a generous entertainment screen, and individual power outlets. Depending on the aircraft type, some seats even offer a massage function.
The culinary experience is a highlight of this cabin. Upon boarding, you are welcomed with a glass of champagne or orange juice, and the menu is created by top Dutch chefs, updated every three months. Dinner includes an appetizer, a choice of main course, and dessert or a cheese selection, accompanied by carefully selected wines. On flights with morning arrivals, a full breakfast—sweet or savory—is served, featuring yogurt, granola, assorted breads, and fruit.
Passengers receive a premium comfort kit with personal care products, and at the end of the flight, they are gifted a Delft Blue miniature house filled with Dutch gin (genever).
KLM Premium Comfort and World Business: Two Travel Classes, Two Styles of Journey
The Premium Comfort cabin is the right choice for those who want more personal space, priority services, and extra comfort compared to Economy.
The World Business cabin, especially on intercontinental flights, is aimed at passengers who desire an ideal space for rest, total privacy, and refined gastronomic services. Regardless of the destination, both cabins offer a well-calibrated experience, tailored to the style and objectives of every journey.
