Starting April 2026, Turkish Airlines will inaugurate direct flights from Timisoara to Istanbul, connecting the Banat region to one of the largest and most dynamic aviation hubs in the world.
Timisoara thus becomes the fourth Romanian city included in the Turkish Airlines network, joining Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and Constanța. The launch of this route confirms Turkish Airlines’ commitment to the Romanian market and its desire to offer passengers more fast and comfortable travel options.

The new air link will operate five times a week, ensuring efficient connections from Timisoara to over 350 international destinations via Istanbul—perfect for business trips, exotic vacations, or city breaks in the world’s major metropolises.
Through the Istanbul hub, passengers will have easy access to popular destinations across Asia, the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East.
