Starting July 7, 2026, the new Air France lounge at London Heathrow International Airport gives passengers an elegant and comfortable space to relax, work, and enjoy an appealing culinary selection before their flight or during a layover. The new Air France lounge is located in Terminal 4 and represents an important addition to the airline’s medium-haul network.
Covering more than 750 square meters (8,000 square feet) and offering nearly 150 seats, the lounge is designed to give passengers a setting inspired by French style and sophistication. The Air France lounge is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Access is available to Air France passengers traveling in La Première and Business class, with the exception of the Business Light fare, as well as Flying Blue Elite Plus members. Eligible passengers traveling with KLM or other SkyTeam partner airlines can also use the lounge.
The Elegant Air France Lounge in Terminal 4.
Designed entirely by Air France teams in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage, the new Air France lounge at London Heathrow reflects the visual identity and distinctive world of the French airline.
The space is bright and offers views of the airport runways. The interior design highlights signature Air France elements, from the airline’s logo and the winged seahorse—its historic symbol—to a selection of posters illustrating the history of Air France.
The brand’s signature color palette, based on shades of blue and white with touches of red, helps create an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. The streamlined furniture was selected with comfort in mind and includes pieces created by French designers such as Margaux Keller, Pierre Paulin, Patrick Jouin, and Christophe Pillet.
French Cuisine and a Bar.
The dining area is located at the heart of the Air France lounge, giving passengers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed meal before their flight or during a layover.
The kitchen is integrated into an open space that connects directly with the dining area. It can accommodate nearly 60 guests and includes tables for two, as well as a large communal table for solo travelers or passengers who want to socialize with others.
The menu changes throughout the day and features both hot and cold dishes, including savory and sweet options. Vegetarian choices are also available. Among the dishes served when the Air France lounge opened was beef bourguignon, one of the classics of French cuisine.
The bar is another highlight of the Air France lounge. With a modern design and an elegant atmosphere, it is staffed by a bartender and offers a selection of champagne, French wines, and spirits.
Air France Emphasizes Sustainability
When preparing its menus, Air France gives priority to local and seasonal products. The airline also aims to reduce food waste and places particular emphasis on sorting and recycling waste generated by its food and beverage services.
To reduce the use of single-use plastic, passengers have access to water dispensers throughout the Air France lounge.
Clarins Treatments Available at the Air France Lounge
The new Air France lounge at London Heathrow also features a Clarins treatment area, part of the partnership between the French cosmetics brand and Air France, which has lasted nearly 20 years.
In a private and comfortable room, Clarins therapists offer passengers a choice of one of three complimentary treatments: “Anti Jet-Lag,” “L’Instant Detox,” and “Focus Regard.”
Each treatment is tailored to the individual needs of the client and combines plant-based formulas with drainage and massage techniques. The aim is to promote deep relaxation and reduce tension, giving passengers a quiet moment before their journey or during a layover.
The service is available Monday through Friday, starting July 13, 2026. Appointments can be made directly at the Clarins reception desk inside the new Air France lounge. La Première passengers can also book treatments through the dedicated phone number.
Private Area for La Première Passengers
La Première passengers have access to a private area within the Air France lounge, where they can enjoy personalized services.
The space is inspired by the La Première suite available on select intercontinental flights departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and has been designed to provide an elevated level of comfort.
With privileged views of the runways, the area features five seats and allows passengers to dine at their chosen seat. In the Clarins area, La Première passengers can also enjoy the “Destination Relaxation” treatment, created exclusively for them.
Dedicated Space for Flying Blue Ultimate Members
Flying Blue Ultimate members also have access to a dedicated area within the Air France lounge. Equipped with four comfortable armchairs, it provides a quiet and comfortable setting. The area offers each passenger privacy while still providing convenient access to all the services available throughout the lounge.
Facilities for Relaxation and Work
The recently opened Air France lounge offers passengers several areas where they can relax, work, or grab a bite before their flight.
The space includes comfortable chairs and armchairs, as well as a more secluded relaxation area designed with a discreet and peaceful atmosphere. For passengers who want to work during a layover, the Air France lounge also features a functional, quiet workspace.
For quick, hassle-free access, the entrance to the lounge is equipped with terminals that allow passengers to verify their eligibility. Additional facilities include:
- TV screens;
- Complimentary Wi-Fi;
- Power outlets near the seating areas;
- USB ports;
- Access to French and international newspapers and digital magazines through the Air France Press app.
Air France Flights Between London and Paris
In summer 2026, Air France offers up to six flights a day between London Heathrow and Paris-Charles de Gaulle, giving passengers the opportunity to connect through its Paris hub to numerous destinations across the airline’s global network.
For passengers traveling for business, the new Air France lounge in Terminal 4 at London Heathrow adds an important amenity to the overall travel experience. Whether it is an early-morning departure, a layover between two flights, or a few hours of work before the next connection, the space is designed to combine comfort, premium services, and the distinctive atmosphere of the Air France brand.
